The photographs in this project resemble pictures. These images represent urban and human subjects which deconstruct the city of São Paulo into black and white forms created by a cell phone camera. The simplicity of the lens, lack of zoom, and low camera resolution (three mega pixels) used in this project challenge the photographer to find creative solutions to the limitations of technology itself, which is still recent in the market. This project values the authenticity of artistic possibilities of the new photographic language, which has emerged from the use of digital cameras contained in cell phones.
