While visiting one of my most favorite spots, the Dockkoog Tidal Pool near Husum in Germany, I often think about my personal situation and how things have changed rapidly since I got the chance to work in a sheltered workshop. Days of bleak prospects are the past. But I still am searching for the solitude to help my imagination. I use one of those beach chairs, thinking, dreaming away, then I want to plunge myself into the pool to feel it, to touch it until a strong picture about my future setting up in my mind. Long exposures and black & white are the required tools for me to make exactly that copy of my minds picture.
