Due to the changes in water chemistry and excessive fishing in the Java Sea, the fish banks vanished forcing the fisher mans to turn into
hydro-farmers. Disregarding age and gender the change forced the people to seek new, creative ways to adapt to this new current climatic and environmental cha(lle)nge by harvesting sea vegetables. In the meantime the fish banks had the chance to recover and repopulate once again these waters.
