My series “What We Say…What They Think” represents a child’s interpretation of what adults commonly say. Children embody a special innocence. Their very nature exudes a playful imagination. When adults give them advise or directives, they interpret and envision our words in their own wondrously imaginative way of thinking about our world. In attempting to capture the imagination of a child, I photographed these images in a childlike fashion.
