The stark realities of life and the conditions of city infrastructure are reproduced here with the use of traditional Black and White film and a panoramic format to portray these scenes in a timeless, cinematic fashion. Black and White film enforces a different view of the world, a different way to connect with one’s reality. It is the developer of truth. When I use film, I return to the visions and concepts of framing and exposure that blossomed in the beginning of my photographic career.
