Here we entertain a rare and intimate rapport with what we eat. The junk food that we touch and put in our mouths without even realising it still follows this rule. Macrophotography makes us reconsider the subject we are shooting and creates a new view on it which is frozen in time. By getting closer and closer we "objectify" in order to possess, emptying it of intellectual content thus rendering it abstract. Here everything is but texture, colours and forms, like the surface of planets that needs to be re-explored.
