Here are 5 images in the project "Private rooms", which is including the private room of Buddhist monks, Catholic priests and the generals who are retired. I choose the three subject in the project to satisfy the curiosity in me: They are representing three different life perspective, so when faced with personal privacy, they are different. Their own room where they come back to themselves, opposite to themselves, they do they like, or simply accept a real life to survive. Along with shooting their room, I also conducted interviews them about their life, from the beginning, the main milestones and value for their lives.

Image 1: Venerable named Thich Thong Hue is at Truc Lam Vien Ngo Zen Monastery (Middle Vietnam), the Truc Lam Zen-Buddhist native of Vietnam by King Tran Nhan Tong founded on Yen Tu mountain. His bed room is very simple . He is reading a book in focus. His most precious things in the room is a picture in which he looked after his mother, who was 90 years old. When he was deep in religious contemplation, he always sat opposite the picture hang on the wall.
Image 2: Phero Hong Phuc pastor, parish of Phat Diem, Ninh Binh, Vietnam, a parish history associated with Christianity in Vietnam is about more than four centuries ago. His own room pretty messy, in a particular order. Bible book is the most precious things of Phero Hong Phuc pastor.
Image 3: Major General Nguyen Van Huy, 81 years old, participated in two wars with France and America. He is the character in the book titled "Valley Vets II - an oral history" by author William L.Adam (USA) . His wife, Mrs Nguyen Thi Minh Thuan, 74 years old said: Over 50 years as the wife of Mr Huy, the total time she was with him only 1 year!
She had done many work as a Literature teaching, construction worker, street vendor, selling lottery tickets...to make a living raising four children . In their bedroom, among them almost as two different world. Two different bed, bare, grandparents hung two pictures apart, and even standing in front of a poster celebrating 50 years of marriage, they still have no mount point .Is it the general tragedy of life when retired generals?
