This series explores an ancient divination system called Lecanomancy which is practiced by interpreting the ripples in water to invoke a spirit or demon meant to engage one's metaphysical curiosities. Often times, one stares at the water in a meditative state in order to transcend known reality and access the realm of the subconscious. These images were shot underwater with a 35mm camera in various locations internationally, using lecanomancy in the image making process.
