With over 500 inches of annual rainfall, the island of Kauai is one of the wettest places on earth. While waiting for a shot of Hanalei Bay, a rainstorm forced me to hideout under this pier. I was unexpectedly and immediately taken with the scene. The radiant golds and greens form a heavenly hallway leading the viewer to the white light beyond that is the island paradise of Kauai.
