I have taken many smoke images with my DSLR, but I wanted to take some using my Hasselblad and do it close up with a macro lens. Since the smoke is moving so fast, the autofocus, which is nowhere near as fast as on the DSLR, was no good. I caught this uncropped macro image by manually focusing with the 120mm Macro lens. To me it looks like a couple dancing: the man on the right quartering away from us and the lady facing us with a fancy hat. What is amazing is that with the detail you get from the medium format sensor, you can see individual smoke particles, but in the end the moment makes the image.
