Can a construction sing? Can it make you hear harmonious sounds like an instrument would? Can it make you feel the emotion of music? It certainly can and it will, you just need to let it do it and open your mind and heart to its sounds... Imagination plays an important role in how we see the world around us and implicitly in the way we perceive the built environment. The way we make connections between shapes and sounds has to do with our capability of transferring ourselves in an imaginary world and live by its rules, a world where a bridge's cables turn into strings in the hand of a cloud and where the wind moves that cloud that becomes the hand striking the strings, creating the music. I tried to create this imaginary world and show the movement of the clouds touching the strings by using long exposure and a black and white processing that reduces everything to shapes and light.
