Fall Impressions is one of the photos taken in Fukushima, Japan before the March 11 tsunami in 2011. It presents Fukushima in one of its purest state. From 2006-2010, I visited Fukushima many times and never thought that Fukushima would have been transformed into a nuclear disaster hotspot. The nuclear plant explosion, which happened shortly after the tsunami, blanketed the region with radioactive pollutants. Fall Impressions is a memory of Fukushima and its colors.
