"Time of War" is the second instalment of the “I am Dust project”, an autobiographical body of work about incarnation and the cycle of birth-life-death-rebirth, known as Samsara. The idea of showering models in ashes occurred to Olivier in early 2009 with first chapter "Dust". It was inspired by Ovid’s definition of Chaos – a confused mass of fog and liquid, light and darkness, that exploded and gave birth to Planet Earth. “Time of War" and was named after the "Goya in Times of War" exhibition at the Museo Del Prado in Madrid (2008) that commemorated the bicentenary of the Spanish War.
