Skógafoss is one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland and in the world. It was formed when the coastline extended from volcanic activity. In this shot the waterfall is not at full volume due to the extreme cold on the island. Ice is clearly visible on the side of the cliffs, being formed from the mist freezing as the water falls and is blown by the swirling wind.
