The coast of Iceland is extremely dynamic--not just through changing weather but through changing landscapes. It always strikes me with differing and powerful moods. This series naturally evolved into dark images of the coastline as many shots were taken in blizzards. Long exposures allowed for the coast to be the star of these images as the thunderous water was smoothed during each exposure.
