Malanka is a traditional Ukrainian holiday, which is celebrated the same day Orthodox world celebrates the New Year according to the Old Julian calendar. On this day people wear different costumes (depends on the region) and can trick on their friends and neighbours. But in the village of Krasnoilsk on the border with Romania this holiday is celebrated in the carnival style. People dress as "gypsies" and "bears" and go from house to house for 24 hours without a stop to collect money and have fun.
