Late Again experiments with the tensions that exist between physical and virtual architecture. Inspired by artistic depictions of matrix code, I envision cyberspace as constellations of data that resemble receding city lights. By rendering the office building in terms of the grids and planes of the digital interface, Late Again allows the viewer to experience computer space as a second, social skin that colors the physical architecture of one’s built environment. In this manner, the computer code aesthetic of Late Again visually represents the technology used to facilitate late evenings at the workplace.
