I first met Tommy when he was about two years old. He was born with multiple disabilities. He was such a shocking sight that I did not have the courage to visit them again for thirty years. Tommy cannot speak, write, walk, stand or control his motoric movements. Martha has been raising him on her own in rural Hungary for thirty three years. This series is a tribute to her. For it must be hard to lose a beloved in its blossoming. How hard must it be then never to see your beloved one to blossom? Losing your hopes day by day? And the doctors say, Martha has only a year or two left.

Story

I first met Tommy when he was about two years old. He was born with multiple disabilities. He was such a shocking sight that I did not have the courage to visit them again for thirty years. Tommy cannot speak, write, walk, stand, or even to eat, drink with his own hands or control his motoric movements. Martha has been raising him on her own for thirty three years.
This series, taken after his bath, is a tribute to her.
For it must be hard to lose a beloved in its blossoming. How hard must it be then never to see a beloved one to blossom? Losing your hopes day by day?
And the doctors say, Martha's body is giving up and she only has got a year or two left.
