The tone of Bell’Italia project is given from those images where the flag does not appear physically, but through the three colours that make it up. The reading of the images in fact follows a well defined momentary pace, even though it is not specified. From the start one reads an extract of daily reality, apparently banal, that characterises Simonazzi’s research. A little square in a town, a family reunion, the inside of a house, the countryside of our country well suited to human needs, with its incongruity and, often, its humour, be it voluntary or involuntary (Walter Guadagnini).
