After a year-and-a-half of life changing events in my family, I began to revisit my childhood through photographing myself in the places my family would gather. Beloved homes that now sit empty. Clothes that belonged to relatives who have since passed away. The images in this series are based in both fact and fiction. The factual aspect of the images is that they are based on my memories, and events that occurred sometime in the late 1980's. The fictional aspect is that our memories are often distorted over time, hence the images in this series are a fantastical representation of every day events.
