The Light shine and the fog rises from the flowing river known as the Macquarie, in the Bathurst NSW, Australia. The river is traditionally known as the "Wambol" to the Wiradjuri Aboriginal Nation. The Wambol was the main life source for the the Wiradjuril people here for over 30,000 years. I have captured the image with its Traditional and Colonial histories in mind. The light and the shadows. The white skin and the black skin colours. The good and the bad. The aggressors and the resistors. The domination of an alien culture.
