The Two Faces of One Cow is an image captured as a single image, divided in half, with each half of the cow juxtaposed opposite from the other half. The intent is force the viewer to choose which eye of the cow to view first, as well as to deconstruct the notion that a leading line in a photograph should lead the viewer passively through the photograph. Here, the deconstruction of the photograph causes the viewer to actively participate in the photograph.
