Daniel Gonzalez Acuna obtained a PhD in Archaeology (2008) and also a postgraduate degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of Seville (2011). In the development of these studies, he received a grant by the International Cooperation Office of the same university to make a photographic project about the situation of Christian minorities in the Palestinian Territories. Finally, this work was published as book by the University. His photographs have been published in newspapers (Wall Street Journal, Spiegel, Bild, Stern, ABC, El Mundo, El Correo de AndalucÃa, La RazÃ³n), Revista EjÃ©rcito, Revista EspaÃ±ola de Defensa, digital platforms of photojournalism and specialized media in archaeology and performing arts. From 2014, he is also director of studies and teacher of the Continuing Training Course Photography of Performing Arts, at the Faculty of Communication of the University of Seville. He is specially interested in photography of performing arts, sports, military and documentary projects about minorities in postconflict areas.
