While on a photography field trip to the Marin Headlands we stopped off at Fort Point, a national historic site from Civil War history, located at the entrance to San Francisco’s Golden Gate. This image captures the long arched hallway corridor to the Officer’s Quarter’s with a lone door at the very end. This is my rendition of an historic moment in time taken with the Canon 5D digital camera with Tamron’s 17-35mm f2.8 Wide Angle lens on a Bogen Tripod with Manfrotto Head and worked on in Adobe Photoshop using various software and tools to finish this unique image.
