At this time there is only a place in Kiev more surreal than Independence(Maidan) Square; that place is the east outskirts of the Ukrainian capitol just in correspondence of an icy bend in the river Dnieper. With its modern skyscrapers under construction in the background that counterbalance the obsolete Soviet industrial archeology, this is the realm of ice fishermen. Figures from dawn of a hypothetical a nuclear winter, they slowly move like robots on the slippery surface of the icy river always looking for the best place where to drill the holes in which to place their fishing line.
