In his latest “FRAMING” series, Hideo ANZE (b. 1975) explores minimal constructive forms in straightforward photography to the limit. He makes three dimensional paper constructions in his own room, lights up his studio, then photographs them. The photograph prints are the completion of his artwork, therefore the paper constructions are demolished after the process. Anze’s work do not connote any journalistic contrivances as the German photographer Thomas Demand, what there is simply a flood of colour with minimal spatial suggestions. ANZE studied at Musashino Art University in Industrial, Interior and Craft Design Department. His works have been exhibited at ART FAIR TOKYO (Japan), DAEGU ART FAIR (Korea), ART TAIPEI (Taiwan) and many others. He currently lives and works in Tokyo, Japan.
