My camera's location for this image, the Mount of Olives, is the perfect vantage point from which to view the "city of all cities", Jerusalem. The name means "City of Peace", and dates back to the time of King David who made Jerusalem the center of Jewish life, and the location of his palace. It is said of Israel's three grand cities that Tel Aviv is the city for play, Haifa the city of work, and Jerusalem is the city for those who worship God. I chose this morning to shoot the city of peace for dramatic clouds that had blown in during the previous evening. It's obvious I am intrigued with Jerusalem. The reason though, is out of all the great cities in the world, London, Paris, San Diego, San Francisco that God could of called his home, Jerusalem was that place.
