The general rule for shooting a full moon and making it large is to locate it low on the horizon. Then, a telephoto lens magnifies it, leaving only the composition. This image was created from two different key elements. First, scriptures declare God has set his promise in the moon, and that when it turns to red like blood, the Messiah would return. The other significant part of this piece is the gate visible in the frame is the East Gate; the gate through which the Messiah will make His entrance up on His return. So, is it merely coincidental both the moon and the East Gate align strategically with one another? Or, is it a sign of God to the world He will keep his promise to mankind to return?
