These portrait series were taken in the most important temple in the largest and most influential Tibetan buddhist monastery in the world, called "Larong" which hosts around 5.000 monks. Larong is located in the Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Seda county in Sichuan Province, almost 4000 meters above sea level.
