After completing a photography degree David moved to London where his earliest commissions were for The Sunday Times and TBWA. He has spent the subsequent years working with a wide variety of editorial and commercial clients worldwide. David is admired for his understated style. He uses location, combined with a sensitive handling of light to create beautifully crafted portraits. Recent accolades include selection for the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize and a Silver in the IPA's 2013. His work has been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery, London and has been acquired for their Permanent Collection.
