After my dance career I created dance choreographies but soon I became aware of the ephemeral nature of the dance medium. I began to photograph because I wanted to create timeless images people can look back on. The result were monumental images in which the subject has overcome its ephemeralness. In recent time I have createdmostly portraits. I also work with dancers because I can communicate with them better and can achieve the desired image more easily. Body is in my work the main subject and not the person. Also, the body is used as a medium with a theatrical character. Body as an object to hang on jewelery, to exhibit clothes or fill up space. But I'm also interested in a body that is struggling and exploring space. My work is stylized where models have the freedom to improvise or to move.
