Story

Come Together! Mosque, Church and Synagogue.
A Christian takes off his shoes and starts a journey of discovery through a world that is new for him: The Yavuz Sultan Selim Mosque in Mannheim.
A Christian puts a yarmulke on his head and starts a journey of discovery through a world that is new for him: The synagogues in Mannheim and Munich.
And he visits churches in Germany, England and Romania.
Small universes of faith.
Different cultures.
Places of prayer, peace and meeting each other.
Jochen Gewecke, christian and photographer, exhibits his very personal views and insights in the three houses of God – the synagogue in the church and in
the mosque, and vice versa.
The pictures presented for the competion just show a fraction of the whole project–they are taken in orthodox churches in Romania.
Keen observations and discovery, of what perhaps no one has seen before.
Opening and revealing many unexpected visions that present themselves.
Surprising, meditative and broadening the horizons.
The Poetry of the Moment.
