The immigration crisis in Central America has reached its peak. Thousands of people from Honduras and Guatemala flee to the North trying to reach the USA in hopes of a better life, escaping dire economic situation and now, more than ever, rampant street violence. Many times, they leave entire families behind with promises to return that are rarely met. In this series, a father whose 15-year-old son died in the desert and still owes money to the coyote; a mother who never heard of her daughter anymore after she left with a coyote; a kid too afraid to go out due to death threats from gangs and whose parents are in jail dreams with the chance to immigrate and a mother who just sent her teenage son with a coyote and hasn't heard from him anymore.
