After tending to my ailing father, in my early 20’s. I had a revelation, of sorts. Perhaps. It was not my life that was so unjust. Perhaps, right and wrong were not skewed, but my perception. I left Switzerland after we laid my Dad to rest. I moved to Jaipur, India, where I lived and worked for three years, in the slums of Jaipur. Where I came to learn misperceptions can be as toxic as the people that placate them. I now run an international nonprofit NGO that focuses on integrating Women’s Rights Initiatives and Children’s Education Initiatives, into the slums, of Jaipur. I moved back to London, this past summer, after I signed my first book deal. “Poor Rich Kidsâ€, will be released in the coming year with DCD Media Publishing. It speaks of the insidious gifts that money affords children. These are some pictures of my kids, and the amazing people that I worked with in Ambedkarnagar, a slum in Jaipur.
