2020 IPA WINNERS ANNOUNCED – WHO ARE THE BEST AMERICAN PHOTOGRAPHERS OF THE YEAR?

Showcasing some of the most outstanding photographic work from around the globe, the world-renowned  International Photography Awards (IPA) has named the Category Winners and finalists in its 2020 Photography Competition for the Professional and Non-Professional/Student categories.

Most entires in this year’s competition came from the United States in both Professional and Non-professional categories, covering almost all the subcategories across the field. Endless creativity and a flair for celebrities, the awarded photographers presented interesting point of views throughout the contest. Zachary Birdsong, 3rd place winner in Event Photography for his photo of Cardi B, said the following: “Photography allows me to achieve dreams that I didn’t know were even possible and have allowed me to capture some astonishing moments. I’m still learning every day and can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

“I photograph to surprise and delight myself. I am committed to a never-ending search for visual imagery that is new, unique and original.  I want to make images that are eye-opening to me.  This search for the rare is the force that fuels my visual appetite,” said Sports Photographer of the Year, Howard Schatz.
