Valérie Racine

After her studies in art, art history and communications, Valérie started working at Apex Publications as Assistant Editor in 2002. In her current position as Editorial Director, she manages the editorial content of Photo Life and Photo Solution magazines and occasionally contributes articles to Photo Solution. She has guided Apex’s team of contributors through the changing dynamics of the publishing industry and strengthened the web content of the magazines. Even though she is not a professional photographer herself, she is passionate about photography and has been a guest judge for a variety of photo contests and competitions, including Int’l Photo Wards and Black and White Spider Awards. Valerie is also part of the judging committee for Photo Life and Photo Solution’s annual international photo contest, The World We Live In.
