Wang Baoguo is the Deputy-Chief-Editor of Chinese Photographers magazine based-in Beijing, part of China National Academy of Arts. He has worked as a photographer, picture editor and commissioning picture editor for magazines across Asia, and is invited to be a speaker at international conferences, including China & Spain, 1936-39: Robert Capa and Global Popular Front, organized by Columbia University (USA) and International Center of Photography, NY.
A member of several international juries including of Visa pour l’Image (France), Lianzhou International Photo Festival (China), FORMAT Festival Open Call (UK) and International Photo Awards (Lucie Foundation, China region). Wang has published A Journey to East: China through Lens of Important Western Photographers since 1840s, and Essays on Photography.
