Anthony Boyle had recently graduated from the Royal Welsh College, when he landed this big part as Scorpius Malfoy in the West End show of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. He moved to London. I had the opportunity to shoot him for a magazine, and I wanted to capture this moment in time for Anthony, the start of an exciting adventure. Together with Tom Leeper my stylist, we created this world of Anthony living in Soho in a prestigious hotel, with a loose narrative of 'a day in the life'. Stealing heavily from fashions and classic imagery of soho through the mid nineteenth century, I hope we managed to crystallise an idea of his dreams he may have had before this journey began. Since our shoot he has gone on to win an Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his part as Scorpius.
