Once a year the residents of Ayutthaya are given the chance to slip into the skin of their ancestors and feel what life must have been like when their city was once the ruling capital of the Kingdom of Siam. Ayutthaya's annual Heritage Festival builds a bridge between present and past when old and young are spinning their tales through traditional performances, musical, dance and martial arts competitions. In this portrait series ordinary folks from all walks of life have gone back in time to tell us the fables of their ancestral bloodline.
