1967 born in JAPAN. Michael studied art at the university in Tokyo. Then he moved to Los Angeles in 1992 and studies photography. Working as a professional fashion and advertisement photographer, He has started focusing on private art works since 1996. In 2008, an aerial photo session inspired the artist and this experience affected his later artwork represented by the time and site-specific â€œTwilightâ€ series which has celebrated by numerous international awards. Main Prizes He Won 2012 px3, Prix de la Photographie Paris /First Prize in Nature category 2013 Hasselblad Masters /Finalists and many others. Since 2009 he has been held exhibitions of â€œTwilightâ€ all over Japan and solo exhibition were held in Hasselblad gallery Japan in 2013. Also his works are shown at the major Art fair of the world. In 2013 he has presented a new series named â€œLineâ€, these pictures catch the Tokyo's urban landscape that is being shaped by the cubic structure of skyscrapers and represents the simplicity of the width, height, breadth "Lines".
