The early morning sky was filled with the bright circular shape of the sun, shrouded behind a milky shade of grey, casting shadows and streams of light across this serene lake. Reflections of fog-filled clouds rolled across the rippling glacial colored waters as I stood upon the ice-covered gravel by the lake's edge. All of these were key ingredients for capturing the elements of early morning light over pristine Bow Lake. This image was taken with the Canon 5D Digital Camera, a Tamron 17-35mm f2.8 Wide Angle lens on a Bogen Tripod with Manfrotto Head.
