My work is about the DGzRS, a charity that saves lives at sea. Funded by charitable donations, the lifeboat crews and lifeguards of the Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger (DGzRS) have saved over 76610 lives at sea since 1865. The DGzRS saves lives at sea around the german north sea and the baltic sea that provide lifesaving lifeboats and lifeboat crews 24 hours a day and all year round. Whatever the weather, they go out. My work deals with heroes, lifesavers, seafarers who resist and respect the forces of nature. They act and operate with necessary foresight. No heroes, just pros. My photographic work indicates different areas ot the lifesavers at sea. The work includes 39 photographs. You can see them on my website. www.thomassteuer.com
