The violent environmental aggressor known as Wildfire willfully destroyed the homes of some of America’s wealthiest citizens; indifferent to class, the devastation triggered unexpected results. This scorched landscape provides little evidence of the good life, but what remains is a new exclusive group bound together in a shared sense of loss, coining the phase ‘California’s Poorest Millionaires’. In many areas in California, houses, community and nature exist in known areas of risk. In time both the landscape and people will recover through regeneration in the face of crisis.
