Homeless children scavenging through the city dump in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Ice picks are used to salvage whatever they can eat or use for living back down in the city sewers. The stench of rotten meat and infestation of black fly is a deterrent to anyone coming close to this dumping ground. Some are as young as 6 years of age.
