A series of sunset studies from southern Sweden. Taken when available daylight is mixed with creeping darkness. When the brightest of light is broken by emerging silhouettes. When the sea is willingly reflecting both the whitest of whites and darkest of blacks. When shapes and lines are highlighted, simplified, obscured, amplified, stylized, and reduced to their essence entirely by the quickly changing light. Sculpted by contrasts. Put on display by contrasts. Being, plain and simple, just contrasts.
