These photographs were taken from early March to late April. They show portraiture and the uniqueness of aging.
I’ve always had a fascination with old buildings, unlike some people who think they should be torn down; I think they are beautiful in their own way. They are different from most other buildings, which are designed and built uniformly the same; old things never age the same. With age these buildings, tree houses, farms, and trains become different, they form a personality and become a part of their environment. The places I photographed are all victims of their environments, the weather, their inhabitants, and their age; these factors combined are responsible for the way these places look today, unique.
