Entry Description

Photos of the new concept car by Bertone: the Alfa Romeo Pandion presented at the Geneve Auto Salon in march 2010. This shots were made at the Bertone's workshop where it was build (Turin - Italy). The main futures from this concept are the great design of the back formed by blades, the vertical opened door (3643 mm high) and the beautiful shapes of the front part of the car. Together with other instruments I wanted to show also the anvil that they usually use in the workshop, considered the icon of the Bertone's logo, because at the same time it reminds a lot the graphic of the Pandion's grill.

About Photographer

Born in 1985 in Warsaw (Poland). He moved to San Sebastián (Spain) in 1987 where he grew up and soon became interested in arts. At an early age he discovered his passion for design and music encouraged by his family, formed by musicians and architects. When he was 7 he started playing the piano and afterwards the guitar. He was given his first analogical SLR camera when he was 12 years old. At the age of 18 he started working for a car magazine selling his features regularly and a couple of years later he already worked for more than a dozen magazines from Europe and the USA. He has been keen on cars since he was a child to the extent that he moved to Turin (Italy) to study car design. The same year he finished his studies he collaborated on several projects such as the Coupetorino of Studiotorino. The combination of design and photography makes him a more complete automotive photographer. The goal of each snapshot is to do justice to the subject's surfaces and to highlight the special characteristics of each model by using interesting illumination and perspective features.
