When I visited Father in the hospital, the morning after his operation, I was sorry to see him in so much suffering and misery, his face stubbly.
Father wanted to shave and take a shower.
He asked me to help getting to the bathroom and to keep an eye on him.
I helped him into the shower. Slowly, he assembled his shaving kit and began to shave.

I carefully took out my cell phone and took his pictures. He wasn’t aware I had photographed him.
When I got home, I hurried to my computer and composed the image “Father in the Hospital.â€
