In an attempt to preserve a memory of an ideal landscape, an ideal land that doesn’t exist, an ideal that has been forged through the sentimental connotations that memory lends itself to, I realize that the wounding of the land does not call for preservation, but that the subtle change establishes this memory of ideal.
