From Vallejo pass, on the way to the Urriellu refuge, you can enjoy one of the most spectacular views of Albo peak, with its unmistakable pyramidal shape. Many times, after hours of abrupt trail, I found it totally hidden by fog, or under a harsh sun. That morning, luck was on my side. The mists left the valley quickly and rose, forming clouds in a light and shadow play. The peak showed its most beautiful face among those ethereal veils. I framed it in the viewfinder of my Hasselblad and waited for the clouds to reach the ideal position. Nothing is more capricious than clouds.
